With the INVERTIG.PRO® range, REHM offers TIG welding units with excellent ignition and welding properties for steel, stainless steel, nickel, nickel-based alloys and titanium, copper and all other metallic conductive materials. INVERTIG.PRO® welding units are available for welding aluminium in all performance levels and as AC/DC variants. INVERTIG.PRO® welding units are particularly impressive with their wide range of uses, an optimum automation interface and high-quality components that enable perfect welding results.
Cutting-edge inverter technology for energy efficient TIG welding
Every welding unit in the INVERTIG.PRO® range is equipped with the highly efficient REHM 200 kHz bi-power inverter and has a 100 percent duty cycle. The innovative components and intelligent energy management system enable the REHM inverter to transfer almost all of the energy supplied into the arc. The high-frequency pulsing at a frequency range of up to 15,000 Hz ensures safe and uniform penetration while simultaneously reducing the zone affected by heat input. Another advantage is the stable and concentrated arc that forms the weld pool within a very short time. The time saved positively effects the total energy consumption of INVERTIG.PRO® TIG welding units.
INVERTIG.PRO® AC / DC - aluminium welding in perfection
REHM have equipped the AC / DC versions of the INVERTIG.PRO® welding units with several innovative functions, which ensure perfect and reproducible results when welding aluminium. REHM AC welding technology - REHM AC welding technology produces a highly stable alternating current arc even under difficult conditions and with highly oxidized surfaces guaranteeing excellent welding results.
DUAL.WAVE - DUAL.WAVE technology reduces the excess AC component in the arc when welding aluminium and increases the controllability of the weld pool because of the significantly reduced heat input. This considerably simplifies welding in difficult welding positions and on sheet metal edges.
AC balance control - The AC balance control precisely controls the heat in the tungsten electrode when welding, effectively reducing the load on the electrode. It is also possible to focus on the energy input of the arc for welding thin sheet metal and for edge welding.
REHM automatic frequency control - when AC welding, the automatic frequency control automatically adjusts the frequency to the current. At low welding current, this focuses the arc and at high current reduces the load on the electrode. The lifetime of the electrode and economic efficiency is increased. The alternating current frequency can also be manually set to a range between 30 and 300 Hz.
Easy operation
Assist function - helps when needed
An INVERTIG.PRO® welding unit can be easily operated with one hand. The large single button control reduces the operating costs for TIG welding to a minimum and is easy to grasp even when wearing gloves. The QUICK CHOICE buttons P1 and P2 make welding particularly convenient and two of the current settings of a welding task can be easily and quickly stored.
